Description

Galaxi Taxi is a hybrid of Story-Driven Action-Adventure, Shoot’em and Boss Fight, and you’re a taxi crew in the classy 90s animation art style. Drive your taxi and discover the depths of a rural outer space, a muddy milky way, a cosmic dust flooding the taxi and an ubiquitous smog.

Features

  • Bringing to life traditional animation style with all its glory! Stand up to Mushroom, the owner of the Mushroom Taxi Corporation, which has enslaved the entire galaxy under his monopolistic rule.
  • Massive fights with strange, bizarre, sometimes funny bosses. Can you hold your own against a massive mechanical robot built by medieval squirrels?
  • Design and build the coolest and most powerful cab on the market. Install the spring coils to jump, or a jet exhaust to fly. Ignore the safety manual, and remove doors to make the taxi lighter, or go against them and transform it into a tank. Modify guns, and make their projectiles fly back like a boomerang. In your garage, take the role of a madman mechanic.
  • Ride on the ground or fly in the sky! Creative levels is our way to go to constantly surprise the player. Weapons, parts, and superpowers with different purposes and behavior on diverse kinds of levels.
  • Explore a muddy Milky Way and an under-invested village universe. Meet and interact with strange characters inhabiting this world. You'll need them to gain access to everything Mushroom Corp offers. Earn coins and buy guns, superpowers, or car parts, from various planets and even eras.

Responsibilities

  • I designed gameplay, GDD, and the game pitch. I was the only game developer, while Fumi provided the art and animations.
